Description

Alocasia Black Velvet is a species of tropical plant native to Southeast Asia, known for its large, velvety leaves with a dark, almost black color.

With distinct, dark leaves coated in velvet, the Alocasia Black Velvet is a regal beauty appreciated for its signature soft leaves. Commonly known as a jewel or little queen alocasia, this indoor plant is compact which makes for a perfect desk or tabletop plant.

Plant care:

• Bright, indirect light
• Keep soil moist but not waterlogged
• High humidity
• Avoid cold drafts
• Fertilize monthly during growing season

Note:  Make sure to keep Alocasia away from direct sunlight, which can scorch their leaves, and allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot.
